Chemistry Department — Computational Chemistry Lab

>
This lab houses six Indigo workstations and one Iris workstation that are networked for ease of use. Several courses in the Department use these fast computers to perform molecular modeling calculations on both small and large molecules. Each machine has a sophisticated graphics program and monitor and the lab has a high-quality color printer. Chemistry majors have 24-hour access. Professor Anderson uses these computers to study conformational analysis of small polypeptides and for the study of the electronic surfaces of various organic solids.
