Students can gain experience in applied chemistry at a number of sites.  We have placed students in summer and academic-year internships.

Examples of off-site internships:

• Forensic analysis at the Springfield Crime Lab
• Materials science research at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH.
• Summer research at University of Southern California, University of Minnesota, University of Virginia, Duke Medical School
