Internship Opportunity: Sports, Arts, and Band-Aide (SABA)

SABA is a Non-Profit Corporation whose purpose is to provide supplemental funding directly to students in school districts that have implemented a ‘pay-to-play’ or ‘pay-to-participate’ program for extracurricular activities. SABA supports and advocates for state and local budget-makers to increase allocations for extracurricular activities.

Internship

- This is an unpaid internship but the intern will receive college credit and will have the opportunity to receive a stipend.

- Intern may work on his/her own time schedule, as long as the work is completed by its respective deadline.

- Intern will assist with developing public relations strategy, marketing strategy, and capital campaign strategy.

- Intern will write press releases to various newspapers in Ohio.

- Intern will help contact Ohio-based professional sports players and their agents.

- Intern may assist with governmental relations and lobbying efforts.

- Intern may assist in the development of new media kits and artwork.

- Intern will assist in planning awareness events and high-end fund raising events in Ohio.
