The "Death of Analog" Television Party

On February 17th the Department of Communication in conjunction with the Communication Club hosted a "Death of Analog" Televison Party to celebrate the greatest moments in television history while raising awareness among students and the community about the impending switch from analog to digital signals in U.S. broadcasting. The party featured food, trivia games, numerous television sets airing famous programs, analog-digital converter box demonstrations by the staff of Best Buy, the storyboard for a public service announcement created by Kathleen Graham (communication major intern at a local news station), and attracted the attention of both television and radio news crews. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who put hard work into the event!
