Teacher Licensure and Placement Office
Mrs. Kridler, who joined the department in October of 1997, very much enjoys working with students on their journey towards teacher licensure.
Working with the Director of Teacher Licensure, she keeps student records with regard to state teacher exams (the Praxis series) and helps remind students of additional requirements that must be met in order to receive a teaching license. She also helps gather and tabulate criteria relating to program and student assessment.
While working with the Director of Student Teaching and Placement, she keeps records of placement assignments and assists with communication between the Director, students, co-operating teachers and university supervisors.
Mrs. Kridler also offers Job Placement assistance to students in their job search: resume advice, interview hints, current job postings and additional career opportunities.
