
Jody Rambo teaches courses in creative writing at Wittenberg, including English 240: Beginning Creative Writing and English 341: Advanced Poetry Writing. She studied writing at Colorado State University where she received an M.F.A. in poetry. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in such journals as The Virginia Quarterly Review, Quarterly West, Notre Dame Review, Verse, The Journal, Meridian, Blackbird, Poet Lore, The Seattle Review, Cream City Review, and Sycamore Review, as well as the anthology New Voices. She received an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council in 2002, as well as a Jerome Foundation Literature Travel and Study Grant in 1999. She was recently a finalist for the Crab Orchard Review's 2006 Richard Peterson Poetry Prize and she was also a finalist for both the Sycamore Review's 2007 Wabash Prize for Poetry and for the 2007 Dogwood Poetry Award.
