Begin choosing, drafting, amd revising writing sample
Request 3-4 letters of recommendation
*If possible provide copies of past work, resume, drafts of statement of intent and writing sample, info on relevant outside activities, etc.

Workshop Statement of Intent/ Writing Sample w/ different profs
Make final school selection
November:
Fill out applications
Give recommenders forms, postage, and list of schools/addresses
