Students may satisfy this requirement through intercollegiate athletics or
through special courses
offered by the Health, Fitness, and Sport Department
or by the Theatre-Dance Department.

Community Service
The student should gain an understanding of the role, responsibility, and
challenge of service in community life through participation, experience,
and reflection.
Wittenberg holds that individuals should develop their gifts and talents so
that they may serve the broader community. This learning goal affords
students the opportunity to put their gifts to work in various community
service projects approved through the Office of Community Service.
