Students conducting independent research work on a variety of
topics as illustated by the examples below. The projects may be
initiated by and involve interests of the student or they may
complement ongoing faculty research. Support for this research
comes from the Geology Department and Wittenberg University as
well as off-campus organizations such as the National Speleological
Society and the Soil Conservation Service. Students are encouraged
to present their research at national or regional forums. Students
in the past have presented their work at the National Conference
on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) and the Ohio Academy of Sciences
(OAS). |
