Thanks you for putting me on the mailing list to receive the history department news.  It's been more than seventy years since I attended a history class at Witt.  I go back to the days of Dr. Volwiler, a marvelous teacher.  Having reached the best golf score I ever made - 90 - I've been retired for thirty years, after almost forty years as an attorney for Procter & Gamble.  I still maintain my interest in history and am presently working on Schama's three ponderous volumes on the History of Britain.  Best regards to all.  [April 1, 2003]
