 "I have continued to sustain my interest in history by working on the acquisition and development of the 700 acre Cave Lake property in Pike County into an Ohio Center for Leadership, Civic Development, and Environmental education; participating in Greenfield, Ohio’s bicentennial for 1999; participating in the planning of how  to preserve the historic character of YMCA Camp Horseshoe (a CCC 1938-39 project in WV) while operating as a youth camp today and into the future; and membership in the Chautauqua Network."
