      4.  Received an MA in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in June 96.
      5.  Had a total hip replacement of my right hip in November 97.

"I have made an effort to read popular and scholarly histories.  (for example; The Best and the Brightest, by David
Halberstam, Vietnam, by Stanley Karnow, Parting the Waters, by Taylor Branch, A Distant Mirror, by Barbara
Tuchman, etc.)  I also try to watch A&E and the Discovery Channel when I have a chance.  (I made a resolution to
become more well read and I am working on that.  I even went back and read a book from one of my MA History
classes at Wright State which I didn't have time for when I took the class)."

KRESSE, (HALL) BRENDA L.

"In May 1991, I  was blessed and honored to marry my husband, John M. Kresse.  In May 1992, God blessed us with
our first son, John Paul; and in January 1994, our second son, Jared Frederick was born.  So I am keeping busy as a
full time wife and mother.  I am now home schooling our sons.  They enjoy geography and poetry, and I enjoy them.
Life is good -- Thank you, Lord!

I am reading Catherine Millard's The Rewriting of American History.  It is very enlightening, informative, fact-based,
and substantial.  It is a wonderful resource and educational tool."

Day Publishing Company, with additional responsibilities for establishing a commercial painting division.

I have sustained my interest in history by working on our genealogy, architectural historical research, book collections,
      historical research."
