Class of 1994

BACON, MALYKKE D.

Currently pursuing a Masters in Liberal Studies at Northwestern.

"I teach History at the secondary level which requires an annual review of topics discussed in my curricula."

STYER, JASON S.

"I have continued to sustain my interest in history by reading works by Barbara Tuchman, Shelby Foote, David
Halberstam, etc.; watching select documentaries on the history channel; maintaining active memberships in the
Academy of Political Science and ACLU (I've always enjoyed political history); informal research of U.S. - Soviet
Relations during the cold war, maintaining contact with fellow history majors; etc."

CRONSTEDT, NINA C.

"In December 1997 I received my license to teach K-8 in North Carolina.  In April of 1998 Tom Bendixen ('94) and I
moved to Michigan and  were married on June 27, 1998.  I plan to become  certified to teach in Michigan, substituting
until I get my Michigan license."

HUFFMAN, CHRISTOPHER W.

"Earned a Master's degree in History from Millersville University,  Millersville, PA,  in December 1997.  Have been
employed by IBM corporation since January 1998.

I have continued my interest in history by reading works of history and biography, watching history documentaries and
movies, and attending historical seminars and reenactments."

PENNOCK, (EHRESMAN) PAM

"Married to Bob Pennock in 1994; we had a son, Isaac, June 30, 1997.  I received my Master's degree in History from
OSU in December 1995, passed my doctoral preliminary exams in March 1997, and  am working on my dissertation
on tobacco and alcohol advertising policy since the 1950s in America.  (Well, I haven't been working on it since the
1950s, but some days it feels like it!)  I also teach the American History survey course at OSU.

While I am devoting my career to history, actually, with a family, teaching, and working on my dissertation, I do not
have time to watch and read the history that I wish I could."
