Graduate Student at The Ohio State University currently pursuing a M.S. in Wildlife Mgt. Employed by The Nature Conservancy doing seasonal habitat management.
After Graduating from Wittenberg I found that my vocation in life was the conservation and management of ecosystems. I do, however, cherish the days I spent at Wittenberg and the history professors that helped mold my understanding of "education" and Professionalism. Particularly , my adviser Dr. Chatfield, taught me how important it is to always do "good work" if for no other reason just to be proud of myself.
I recently read A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold. First
published in 1949, this book gives the reader a historical idea of America's
relationship with nature and some of the first views in how to manage and
conserver America's wild places. It's beautifully written and a good
choice for anyone with a passion for nature. [April 1, 2003]
