Degree Options

Spanish Major

Spanish 215, Studies in Spanish Language; Spanish 216, Conversation and Contemporary Issues; Spanish 217, The Craft of Writing; Spanish 301 or 302, Introduction to Hispanic Literature I; and 11 Spanish 450, Senior Seminar.  Also required are eight additional semester hours at the 300 level and eight additional semester hours at the 400 level.  (With departmental approval, students may register for a maximum of 4 semester hours of Hispanic Lit 130 to replace a 300-level course and be applied to the major.) Spanish 301 or 302, 450, and four additional hours at the 400 level must be taken at Wittenberg.  Total credits: 36 semester hours.

Spanish Minor

Spanish 215, Studies in Spanish Language; Spanish 216, Conversation and Contemporary Issues; Spanish 217, The Craft of Writing.  Also required are four semester hours at the 300 level and four semester hours at the 400 level.  Total credits: 20 semester hours.
