Aric Thomas
Life at Wittenberg
Graduation
Year: 1999
Major: Mathematics
Department Activities: While at Witt, I was a member of MAAWUC and I
worked as a tutor in the Math Workshop.
Athletics:
Baseball
(4 years) Football (1 year)
Most Helpful Courses: While you are taking the courses you just want to
get through them. It isn’t
until you graduate that you begin to find the value in the reasoning and logic
that you have gained. I would
encourage all students to stay the course, it is all beneficial.
Courses You Wish You Would’ve Taken: I wish I had taken more Physics courses. I enjoyed Physics and believe it would
have helped me teach across the curriculum in my classes. I also wish Wittenberg would have
related material from one course to the next as much as possible. Courses seemed to be isolated.
Most Helpful Experiences: I cannot put my finger on one experience. I enjoyed my athletic teams for the community building opportunities and camaraderie.
