Most helpful classes: Education courses helped me hone public speaking and learning to understand that different people obtain, decipher, and respond in different manners. Computer Science courses pushed my logic and problem solving abilities. There was an ethics course I took within the Education Department that probably showed me a glimpse of the differences I deal with on a daily basis. The GIS class I took also provided me with the basic understanding that I need in dealing with precincts today.

Courses you wish you would have taken: I wish I would have taken more GIS classes.

Most Helpful Experiences: I would have to say living in the dorm and learning to live with different people. The sorority also reiterated that lesson. I suppose I could have alienated myself, but it forced me to communicate with people I normally would not have gotten to know. The senior computer science project was an eye opening experience as to how people are not willing to collaborate to get a project completed. It taught me how to tactfully work with people who do not want to work with others!!
