Amy Nilson

Amy Nilson '07 is a Management major with an Accounting concentration from Lincoln, Nebraska.  Nilson is currently the student assistant to Management Department Professor John Fenimore and has also been involved in retail as a part-time sales associate at Abercrombie & Fitch as well as a Customer Service Representative at Liberty Savings Bank.  Throughout her time at Wittenberg, Nilson has held several leadership positions, which include Treasurer of Chi Omega Sorority, News Editor of the Torch, Secretary of the Investment Club, Secretary of the Panhellenic Council, Vice President of Myers Hall Government, Secretary of Tau Pi Phi honorary, Treasurer of Omicron Delta Kappa honorary society, Membership Chair of Mortar Board honorary, and Treasurer of Ivy Ring honorary society.  Nilson is also a member of the Order of Omega Greek honorary society, Pick 'N Pen academic honorary, the Teacher Effectiveness Committee, the University Honors Program, and has served as both an Orientation Assistant and a Rho Gamma.  She was recently honored with the Chi Omega Pauline Burnett Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to those pursuing careers in Management, as well as the Wittenberg Management Department’s Woodrow Wilson Prize for Excellence in Management.  In 2006, Nilson was the first Wittenberg student awarded the Financial Executive International’s scholarship.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, and reading fictional novels.  Nilson plans to pursue her Masters of Accountancy immediately following graduation from Wittenberg University.
