Springfield, OH--- On Thursday, December 6, 2007, WittCAM students: AJ Kent, Brett Mitchell, and Stephanie Rines presented their marking plan to local author Peggy Hanna. The marketing plan outlined strategies for Hanna to use to market her self-published book Patriotism, Peace, and Vietnam. After conducting interviews and researching prior marketing strategies, the team created a SWOT analysis, which was presented to the client. From the SWOT analysis, a target audience was identified and specific strategies to reach that audience were created. In the final marketing plan presented to Hanna, the team presented many different advertisements including email ads as well as posters. The team also created organizational tools to help Hanna facilitate the marketing plan as a self-publisher and distributer. Finally, Hanna was presented with a marketing plan of how to contact potential customers to use her book in the future. Hanna was very excited to have a process to follow to promote her self published book.
