Wittenberg’s Tau Pi Phi Honorary Induct New Members

Springfield, OH- Shouvlin Center was the site for the annual Management Department induction of Tau Pi Phi membership and recognition of outstanding student achievement.  Current officers Matthew Lynch, Dale Williams, and Andrea Fredrick conducted the ceremony that inducted twenty-two students; 10 seniors, 10 juniors, and 2 sophomores. Professors Fenimore, Gradwohl, Maurer, Schindler, Stocktill and Vrooman, donned in full academic regalia, welcomed new members into the ranks of the honorary.  A reception immediately followed.

     Seniors inducted this year are: Amy Apidone from Richfield, OH; Dillon Charney from Springfield, OH; Jon Fox from Urbana, OH; Leigh Hendrix from Indianapolis, IN; Taryn Hensel from Marion, OH; Andrew Kent from Granville, OH; Nicholas Kovach from Norwalk, OH; Mary Beth Lintz from Englewood, OH; Kelly Mutton from Fort Wayne, IN; and Andy Vanover from Tipp City, OH.

     Juniors inducted this year are: Katie Barsan from Silver Lake, OH; Zach Brumfield from Springfield, OH; Chad Kingery from Lexington, OH; Ashley Manson from Covington, OH; Cait Mather from Mason, OH; Mark Reynolds from Wooster, OH; Allison Scaia from St. Louis, MA; Anne Speakman from Pickerington, OH; Maureen Walsh from Highland Heights, OH; and Matt Wigton from Lancaster, OH.

     Sophomores inducted this year are Ben Adams from Eaton, OH and Melissa Cederqvist from Huskvarna, Sweden.

     Other current members of Tau Pi Phi inducted in previous years include: Matt Delestienne, Sean Fields, Andrea Frederick, Ross Holland, Matt Lynch, Kelly Parsons, Suzanne Thompson, Tricia Wendt, Dale Williams, Brad Wilson, Michelle Costello, and Mai Trinh.                 

     Tau Pi Phi, established in 1931, is a national honorary society that recognizes and honors students who are pursuing either a management or economics major and who hold a GPA of at least 3.0 within their major and a 3.0 overall.  Professor Ron Lucchesi is the adviser to the Wittenberg chapter.
