Double business and financial economics major Tyler Hervas '11 studied in Copenhagen, Denmark during the summer of 2009. Studying through the Danish Institute of Study Abroad, the program took tours of local Danish banks museums, and even pastry shops. Hervas remembers, "Studying abroad was such an interesting and fun change from the Wittenberg bubble. I loved seeing first hand how companies in a different part of the world were dealing with and planning for the financial crisis in 2009. However, in general the best part is being part of a foreign culture and living how other people around the world live." |

Stover said, "It was enriching to gain a perspective of how the world at large views America in relation to itself. I felt that this experience was closer to working in an international environment than with any experience I would have had at Wittenberg." | |

Kendall Obreza '10, business major, studied in Lesotho Africa this past summer. She went with about 30 other students and the trip was coordinated by Dr. Rosenberg, a professor in the Africana Studies Department. Obreza said, " We learned about the culture, economics, health concerns and education system, but most of our time was devoted to many different service projects.It was the most educational and eye-opening experience of my life, and I would recommend anyone to go, regardless of major or age." | |

Maggie curtis , business major with a political science minor, studied abroad in Bregnaz Austria this past summer. She took Business Ethics Monday through Thursday and traveled on the weekends. Here she in front of the Coloseum in Rome. The trip lasted eight weeks and Maggie said she would pack up today if given the opportunity to return. | |
