Professor of Management, teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, and Research Methodology. She came to Wittenberg in 1983, having earned a B.A. from Sonoma State University in California and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Her dissertation, which involved the development of a structural model predicting job and life satisfaction and job level from biographical data, was nominated for the A.S. Edwards Award for Excellence in Research at the University of Georgia. Her current interests include the communication of authority, women in management, research on encouraging active learning in the classroom, and yoga as a metaphor for teaching. She has published a number of articles in scholarly journals, presented academic papers and invited lectures at professional societies, and is active in the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, and Academy of Business Education.
