Wittenberg is a small, liberal arts college located on a beautiful 95-acre wooded campus. Known around the country for its strong academic programs in the arts and sciences and for its excellent athletic teams, Wittenberg has a student-to-faculty ratio of just 12 to 1. Its enrollment of about 2,000 students includes students from more than 20 foreign countries. Wittenberg’s Music Department has been a member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) for over 75 years.

Attend the 2009 Springfield Summer Arts Festival, one of the longest-running arts festivals in the U.S. Events are scheduled for June and July.

Music scholarships

More than $100,000 in funding is available to all Wittenberg students regardless of major. Audition dates for 2009-2010 will be announced in September.

Wittenberg performances

Listen to our largest instrumental ensemble (Symphonic Band) or our largest vocal ensemble (Wittenberg Choir). Wittenberg music ensembles are open to all students, regardless of major. Auditions for ensembles are held during the first week of fall semester.
