Astronomy at Wittenberg

"The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious; it is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science."     *Albert Einstein*

The mystery of sky and space has intrigued humans since the dawn of man. Right here at Wittenberg, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to explore the mysteries of outer space in The Weaver Observatory. The Wittenberg Astronomical Society provides many chances for stargazing enthusiasts to view the stars, galaxies, and planets. The Astronomy Society is also a great place to stay up-to-date with all the developing space advances and technologies for those who are interested or just plain curious. Please note that while a few of our scheduled events will be limited solely to Wittenberg students, on numerous occasions, the facilities will be open to the public...So please check the Wittenberg Astronomical Society (WAS) calendar of events for details!
