Phi Beta Kappa, 1997, Wittenberg University Recipient of the 2002 Henry Spencer Award for best doctoral dissertation in political science at Ohio State.

I have work published in The Journal of Politics and Political Psychology. I also have several papers presented at Annual Conferences of the American Political Science Association, Midwest Political Science Association, and Southern Political Science Association.

Research Interests

My current research interests involve studying the impact of party loyalty on legislative success. I am also interested in improving pedagogical methods for teaching the art of politics through classroom simulations.

My wife, Cathy, and I are both Wittenberg alumni. We are excited to be raising our two children, Emily and Ben, amongst the Wittenberg family.
