Earl Morris Memorial Scholarship

The Earl F. Morris Memorial Scholarship was started in 1992-93 in memory of Earl F. Morris, long time trustee and volunteer for The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC), graduate of Wittenberg University, and founding partner of the Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur law firm in Columbus.  Several scholarships of approximately $2,500 are available for students preparing for a legal career.  These awards are for undergraduate study at any OFIC college in the 2009-2010 academic year.  Students must meet the criteria listed below.  Awards may replace loans, but not grants.  Since the number of applicants for this program is usually small, students who meet the criteria and complete the application process professionally have a high possibility of receiving an award.

 *   Pre-law student (applicant's intent, not necessarity major)
