
Credit Hours & General Education Requirements
Credit hours – A Wittenberg 6 credit course meets for 67.5 hours; each class hour is 60 minutes long; and students are expected to spend two hours outside of class for every hour in class. Students will meet these credit hour requirements through formal class meetings, site visits, experiential learning activities, reading and writing assignments, and independent learning activities.
General education requirements – Wittenberg students may choose to fulfill general education requirements by registering for EAST 290C or EAST 290S. A C course meets the Non-Western Cultures requirement; an S course meets the Social Institutions, Processes and Behavior.
