Your guide to Comic-Con is
Dr. Matthew J. Smith, chair and associate professor in the
Department of Communication at Wittenberg University. He has attended the previous two Comic-Cons and led a group of students to the 2007 one.
Dr. Smith has also taught "Comic Books as Culture" at Wittenberg University and is co-authoring a forthcoming textbook called The Power of Comics. He has spoken and written about comics and a number of popular culture phenomena including reality television and the World Wide Web.
