Recitation Hall

An award-winning, architecturally beautiful building, Hollenbeck Hall serves as Wittenberg's humanities building and houses the departments of English, religion, languages, East Asian studies, history, philosophy, political science and women's studies as well as the international education/study abroad departments. Hollenbeck's facilities include spacious classrooms and a 24-hour computer lab. Wired connections are also available in the study areas, and wireless is available both inside and at the benches outside. It is also home to the Math Workshop, the Writing Center and the Language computer lab. The Math Workshop, the Writing Center and the Foreign Language Learning Center offer the services of peer tutors certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), an international organization that certifies effective college and university tutor training programs.
