Krieg Hall is home to the music department and the John M. Chowning Laboratory for Music and Technology, which currently offers six MIDI stations, each with a computer containing up-to-date software and a keyboard music synthesizer. Krieg hosts numerous musical events each year, including student and faculty recitals, and performances by local community members. Students can also participate in a wide range of musical activities from the Wittenberg Choir and the Handbell Choir to the Symphonic Band and Jazz Band, among others.
