The Wittenberg
Fund Makes the Difference
Since the 1950s, alumni have been using The Wittenberg Fund to support the extraordinary learning community that Wittenberg is. Today, parents, graduating seniors, faculty and staff also demonstrate their commitment to the university and its mission through gifts to the fund.
As Wittenberg moves forward as a leader in the liberal arts, gifts to The Wittenberg Fund help the university fulfill its mission in meeting these important goals:
To never deny admission to any student on a basis ofneed;
To preserve the tradition of strong student-faculty
relationships through small classes and collaborative
research;
To inspire the faculty to reach new heights in teaching
research;
To provide the necessary technical and scholarly
resources to faculty and students alike;
To maintain and improve the student experience at
Wittenberg through support for athletics, facility
maintenance and other student activities and
organizations.
While tuition does cover a portion of expenses, Wittenberg relies on annual gifts to The Wittenberg Fund to maintain its level of high quality education and student experience. The combination of each of Wittenberg's funding sources keeps the Wittenberg education affordable and excellent.
