II. Getting Started
Step 1: Contact the Alumni Office
Step 2: Identify and Recruit Other Alumni Volunteers We will provide you
a list of alumni in your area and highlight potential volunteers.
After you review the list, you or the Alumni Office will call
alumni to inquire of their volunteer interest in the Alumni Chapter.
The size of Chapter leadership will vary, but 2-3 core volunteers
are ideal. Step 3: Confirm Alumni Chapter leadership in a planning meeting. Review Alumni Chapter
Manual with core volunteers. Review University Alumni Events calendar
and brainstorm ideas for event ideas, volunteer duties, and communication
plan with Alumni Office. Step 4: Plan and host your first Alumni Chapter event!
