Mission Statement
The mission of The GOLD Program is to engage recent graduates in the life of Wittenberg by communicating with graduates of the last decade and to enhance fundraising efforts to The Wittenberg Fund.
GOLD-en Opportunities
Within GOLD, there are many ways to volunteer.
Be a Class Agent
Becoming a Class Agent may be one of the most important volunteering roles a person can do for Wittenberg University and puts you on the front lines of participating in The Wittenberg Fund and the planning for your 5th and 10th Year Reunion Celebrations. By volunteering your time as a Class Agent, you will be responsible for writing letters and making calls to your friends asking them to support The Wittenberg Fund as well as making sure they secure plans for their reunions. It is a great way to actively get in touch with your fellow alumni and do a great service to Wittenberg at the same time!
On Campus
Wittenberg is evolving. One of the best ways to stay connected is to see what changes are happening. Return to Wittenberg. Stop by campus or check out the website regularly. From developing academic programs to new faces and places on campus, Wittenberg has great momentum for the future of its students. Keep in touch with what your school is up to!
GOLD Rushes
Surrounding the areas of the Alumni Clubs, special GOLD Rush events may be planned designed specially for recent alumni. GOLD Rushes are events where you can meet with your fellow Wittenberg alumni in a casual setting.
Supporting The Wittenberg Fund
The Wittenberg Fund is an annual drive to support the day to day operations of the university. It helps fund scholarships, student organizations, campus maintenance, faculty salaries and technology on campus. Alumni giving is essential to Wittenberg's growth and success. Gifts of any size are appreciated. Take an active role in Wittenberg's future and consider giving back so that other students may enjoy the same experience you had.
