Wittenberg Affiliation: Professor
Hometown:
Kettering, Ohio

What is your favorite Wittenberg memory?
watching Jodi Ahnmark perform Shakespeare or management faculty road trips to conferences in Chicago.

Why Witt Nation?
Connecting with alumni is fun, rewarding, and critical. Those connections are part of why I've been teaching so long at Witt.

What is your involvement on the trip?
The two WittNation ambassadors are management graduates that I've worked with and advised for more than two years. They are friends and colleagues I want to see excel.

What is a lesson you learned while at Wittenberg?
Students often set their personal goals too low; they can exceed their own expectations if I set my goals for them at a high level.

Tunes?
Toby Keith

Favorites:
Show: West Wing
Movie: Hitch, with Will Smith as a relationship counselor
Team: At a school like Witt, where athletic tradition is so strong, it is probably dangerous to say I don't have a favorite team.
Book: Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell
Food: grilled salmon at J. Alexander's
Music: any song on Toby Keith's Greatest Hits 2 album

Interesting fact about yourself:
I worked in a tire center in college; my job was accepting or rejecting tire truckloads based on inspection and calculating the probability of too many defective tires in the truckload. The job was my first experience with sampling.

Road Trip Essentials:
fresh fruit and peanuts
