Accounts and Passwords
What does your Windows account do?
- Log into campus Windows computers (computer labs, classrooms)
- Access your network file storage (H:\ drive, class drive file areas, your personal web page storage)
- Access your e-mail
Set passwords, get a username
- Accounts for Windows are created automatically for all registered students and currently employed faculty and staff. Allow approximately 1 working day after the account request is sent from either Human Resources or the Registrar's office.
- To learn your username and set your passwords, select the appropriate group in the section titled New User Registration or Forgotten Username in the Witt Portal.
- To change your passwords, log into the WittPortal and select "Change Passwords" on the left.
- If you forget your password, click here. The Solution Center cannot change passwords for you; you need to reenter your registration information by clicking your relationship to Wittenberg.
