To setup Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express to receive/send Wittenberg e-mail
ON CAMPUS OR THROUGH WITTENBERG DIALUP ONLY:
Open the program.
Click the Tools menu at the top of the program window.
Select Accounts from the list.
Click the Mail tab at the top of the window.
Click the Account name in the list. (If there is no listing for Wittenberg yet, click Add, then Mail.)
Click the Properties button.
Click the Servers tab at the top of the window.
Verify that the incoming mail server is listed as an IMAP server. If it is listed as a POP3 server, click Cancel, remove the Wittenberg mail account from the list, and add it again as an IMAP account.
The name of the incoming mail server should be "imap.wittenberg.edu".
The name of the outgoing mail server should be "smtp.wittenberg.edu".
Click the Apply button at the bottom of the window.
Click Close, and then Close again on the next window.
