Add Witt's LDAP server to Thunderbird for e-mail addressing

REMINDER - This works when physically on campus using the network or with the VPN (Virtual Private Network) software engaged. The LDAP server only contains account names, so you will not be able to look up mailing lists using this method.
- Open Thunderbird.
- Click Tools, Options, Composition.
- On the right under the Address Autocompletion option, check the box to use Directory Server.
- Click Edit Directories.
- A window called "LDAP Directory Servers" will open. Click Add.
- In the spaces provided for "Directory Server Properties":
- Name: Witt LDAP
- Hostname: ldap.wittenberg.edu
- Base DN: ou=people, o=wittenberg.edu
- Port: 389
- Click OK on each of the three windows to exit the settings and return to Thunderbird's main screen.
When you begin typing an e-mail address, Thunderbird will now offer names from the LDAP server to complete typing the address as long as the address is a valid Wittenberg name.
