Connecting to the Secure Network on an Android Device

To connect an Android device to the campus wireless network:

Step 1: Go to the Home Screen, press the system button, and select Settings.

Step 2: Select "Wireless & Networks".

Step 3: Select "Wi-Fi" to turn on Wi-Fi.

Step 4: Select "Wi-Fi settings".

Step 5: From the list of available networks, select "Witt-Student" if you are a student or "Witt-FacNStaff" if you are a faculty or staff member.

Step 6: You will see a screen like the following. Select the "Phase 2 authentication" drop down menu.

Step 7: Select "MSCHAPV2".

Step 8: Confirm that the settings are the same as the image below.

Step 9: Scroll down and type in your Wittenberg username into the "Identity" field and your Wittenberg password into the "Password" field. Leave the "Anonymous identity" field blank. When you are done, press the "Connect" button.

You will now be connected to the network you chose. Your Android device will remember your password and it should automatically connect whenever you are in range.
