Information Technology Services (ITS)

Support for Personal Computers

ITS supports Wittenberg University-owned computer equipment. Any software or services provided by the ITS Department is provided without any implied warranty or guarantee. ITS assumes no responsibility for the installation, setup or maintenance of any software or services on personal computers.

ITS student staff members will not perform repairs or upgrades on personally owned computers. Our help is restricted to connecting your computer to Wittenberg's network and limited support for virus/malware-removal.

No program, virus software, or device can prevent all viruses, Trojans, bots, etc. There will be times where the software corruption on the computer may be beyond our means to correct. In those cases, we will refer you to your manufacturer's technical support or another third party for additional repair or assistance. If you are experiencing problems with your personal computer you should contact the retailer of the computer as soon as possible.
