Support for Personal Computers

The Computing Center supports Wittenberg University owned computer equipment. Any software or services provided by the Computing Center is provided without any implied warranty or guarantee. The Computing Center assumes no responsibility for the installation, setup or maintenance of any software or services on personal computers.

Computing Center student staff members will not perform repairs or upgrades on personally owned computers. Our help is limited to getting your computer back on Wittenberg's network.

No program, virus software, or device can prevent all viruses, Trojans, bots, etc. There will be times where the software corruption on the computer may be beyond our purview to correct. In those cases, we will refer you to your manufacturer's technical support or another third party for additional repair or assistance. If you are experiencing problems with your personal computer you should contact the retailer of the computer as soon as possible.
