Software Available from the University
To download available software, click the link and be ready to enter your Wittenberg username and password. Available software includes:
- Virus Scanning Software and Updates - Windows XP, Vista, and 7, plus Apple OS 10.x versions of McAfee Enterprise from Network Associates
- Virtual Private Networking Software - Windows XP, Apple OS 9.x, 10.x
- Open Office - Windows 98 through Windows Vista, and Apple OS 10.3, 10.5
Other titles are available for purchase through the Campus Bookstore.
When purchasing software with a computer, we recommend purchasing Microsoft Office 2007 or higher for compatibility with campus computers. Microsoft Works is not as robust nor is it completely compatible with Word 2010, which is in use on all campus computers.
