Accessing Datatel off campus
Datatel is a specialized program used by some staff and faculty to access the administrative database for campus. This is NOT general use software, and if you do not have a specially built account through our MIS area, this software will not work for you.
If your department uses Desktop UI, these instructions apply:
- Check your Internet connection. To access the Datatel software from home or any other off campus location, you must have Internet access.
- If you haven't already, download and install the Cisco VPN software. This software is required to use Datatel UI from off campus.

- Download and SAVE a copy of the wittdrivesandprinters.exe program.

- Download and install the current copy of Datatel's UI program. Click here to download a copy.
If your department does not use Desktop UI or you need to connect to HAL, connect to the VPN and then use http://wu-uiweb.wittenberg.edu to connect.
