Help with - Set McAfee virus scan to update daily

To find out which version you have, right click the McAfee shield (in the corner by the time clock), then left click "About..."

To change Windows McAfee 7 to update daily

To change the required settings: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS SECTION BEFORE BEGINNING

Setting the AutoUpdate schedule:
1. Click Start, Programs, Network Associates and select VirusScan console.
2. Double Click AutoUpdate from the list (not AutoUpgrade).
3. Click the Schedule button and then select the Schedule tab.
4. Set the Schedule Task: option to Daily and the start time to 12:00 PM local time.
5. Check the box to Enable Randomization.
6. Check the box to Run missed task.
7. Click OK, then Click OK again.

To change the required settings: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS SECTION BEFORE BEGINNING

1. Click Start, Programs, Network Associates and select VirusScan console.
2. Double Click AutoUpdate from the list (not AutoUpgrade).
3. Click the Schedule tab.
4. Click to place a check in the Enable box.
5. Under Run, select Once and Daily.
6. Click to check Enable Randomization.
7. Click Apply, then Click OK.
8. Close the VirusScan console.
