Greek Honoraries

Rho Lambda: Nominations Now Being Accepted

Nominations for Rho Lambda membership are made by each sorority. Each chapter nominates at least 2 of their members and 1 member from every other sorority on campus for consideration. Applications are requested from all nominees. Selections are made once a year and new members are tapped and initiated in Spring semester.

The purpose of the Rho Lambda honorary is to honor those women within the sorority community who have exhibited the highest qualities of leadership and service to their Greek community and their sorority.

Gamma Sigma Alpha: Gamma Upsilon Chapter:

This honorary was established to promote intellectual interaction between Greek students and the academic community, as well as aid in the advancement of education among Greek student organizations.

New members are selected based on achieving a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher in the junior or senior year and members are recognized at the University's Honors Convocation in April.

Order of Omega:

Applications should be submitted by February 1 for the 2007-08 year. Juniors and Seniors

are eligible if they have demonstrated above average scholastic achievement, outstanding character and leadership to the Greek community and campus.
