Issue 18, Volume 3

Sarah Leavens '06, an English/art double major, works with Project Jericho, an arts outreach program for at-risk teenagers. Her current project involves creating a large-scale sculpture to go in front of the Clark State Performing Arts Center. "The kids will conceptualize it, build it and sign it, under the guidance of professional sculptor and Wittenberg Professor of Art and Department Chair Jack Mann," Leavens advised. Mann is the head artist for the project, and Leavens was hired to assist him and to head up some smaller art projects.
