DANIEL KAZEZ, professor of music, cello, will perform several selections of Jewish-inspired classical music at 8 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Temple Sholom, following an abbreviated Shabbat service. He will be joined by junior music major Neal Hayes, keyboard. Through music and discussion, Kazez will address what he calls an impossible question, "What is Jewish music?"

Orth Hirt Professor of History and president of the Springfield City Schools Board of Education, wrote an article titled "Public Included in High School Decision," which appeared in the Op-Ed section of the Springfield News-Sun on March 27. Huffman dispelled rumors and went on record concerning the board's decision to consolidate the city's two high schools. "The record says the school board's decisions have been deliberative, careful and open," Huffman wrote. "They will continue to be that way."
