• CHUCK DOMINICK, vice president for university advancement, served as the master of ceremonies at the Leadership Clark County 24th Leadership Academy graduation and awards ceremony dinner on April 28.
• BOB WHITE, director of church relations, and Ellen Waild of the Opportunities Industrialization Center of Clark County, received the 2004 Alumni of the Year Award on April 28 for their collaborative efforts in designing the curriculum of the Leadership Academy.
• MATTHEW J. SMITH, assistant professor of communication, was quoted in an article titled "Latest Bra Mimics Breast Implants," which ran in 11 Canadian papers on April 27. Smith's expertise in reality TV and how it affects the viewing public provided an explanation for the latest trend.
• ARTIMUS KEIFFER, assistant professor of geography, was guest speaker at the Wittenberg Garden Club's meeting on April 20. Keiffer's presentation on "Yard Art" included a slide presentation on regional culture.
