Professor Emeritus of Biology Elizabeth Powelson will be honored with the creation of The Elizabeth E. Powelson Chair in Biology. A formal ceremony will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center. Powelson is pictured with her beloved Chrissy, a familiar furry face on campus.
