• THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY will present a colloquium featuring Amy Livingstone, associate professor of history and department chair, at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in Ness Family Auditorium, Hollenbeck Hall. The title of Livingstone's talk is "Forget about Chastity Belts and Distressed Damsels: The REAL Lives of Medieval Women."

• THE DEPARTMENT OF ART will welcome sculptor Doug Calisch, this year's Wittenberg Series Artist-in-Residence, at a slide lecture and gallery opening reception beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, Kissell Auditorium, Koch Hall. Calisch will work with students in sculpture and photography classes during the residency Monday-Wednesday, Feb. 28-March 2.
