• JACKIE JAUDON '97, retiring finance director for the City of Springfield, was the subject of an article titled "Stepping off the Top Rung," which ran in the Springfield News-Sun on Dec. 20. Jaudon rose from a deputy clerk to finance director during her 33 years working for the city. She wanted a bachelor's degree to be eligible for a position as department head. "It opened the door for me," she said. "It was tough, but it was worth it."
