history, is in Lesotho, Africa, with 29 students until June 15. The field study includes academic research and work with Habitat for Humanity in the capital city of Maseru.

KATHY REINSEL, assistant professor of biology, and JIM WELCH, assistant professor of biology, are in Beaufort, N.C., with six students who are participating in the Marine World/Extended Field Studies at Duke Marine Lab through June 17. The program provides non-majors with an appreciation for the general processes of biology in a marine context.
